One Acts

Each year, the Grand Rapids Christian High School Theatre Department presents a one-act production as its entry into the Michigan Interscholastic Forensics Assocition (MIFA) Theatre Festival.  The festival is a highly competitive event that allows students the opportunity to compete with high schools from all over the state. The presentations are traveling shows that begin and end with an empty stage and cannot be longer than forty-five minutes.  During competition, the students are judged on everything from organization, sets and production design to acting and length of performance. This is truly an exciting element to theatre and fun for audience members to enjoy
