Hearts In Step Christian Dance Academy presents "The Toymaker's Son"

Hearts In Step Christian Dance Academy debuts The Toymaker's Son, an original ballet by Artistic Directors Tassia Johnson and Hannah Ferianc. Inspired by toyshop ballets like La Boutique Fantasque and Coppelia, The Toymaker's Son uniquely portrays the Easter story. Follow a charming cast of characters who experience both heartache and healing as they discover life outside the toyshop.

Performances feature the Hearts In Step Ensemble joined by guest artist Patrick Johnson, former principal dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem, and young men from the Grand Rapids Ballet Junior Company. This production is Sponsored by WJQ-99.3.

The Toymaker's Son will draw the audience into a beautiful story of love and forgiveness with innovative choreography, full theatrical sets, lighting and costumes.
