Dancing at Lughnasa: A One Act Play

A one act version of the Tony Award-winning play by Brian Friel, Dancing at Lughnasa tells the story of a summer in the life of five unmarried sisters in 1936 rural Ireland.
Dancing at Lughnasa is Grand Rapids Christian High School’s entry into the 2012 Michigan Interscholastic Forensics Association (MIFA) Theatre Festival. The festival is a highly competitive event that allows students the opportunity to compete with high schools from all over the state. The presentations are traveling shows that begin and end with an empty stage and cannot be longer than forty-five minutes.
